After much waiting and speculating, reel life sweethearts Carla Abellana and Geoff Eigenmann have finally admitted that they are officially in a commitment with each other, this time in real life. It seems that this is not a surprise to the people who are close to them because they have been waiting and hoping for this day to come.
Their respective parents have been interviewed in past and they have voiced out their approval and are actually just waiting for the two to finally make their relationship official. When interviewed during the showbiz talk show of GMA 7, Startalk, Carla said that indeed they are making it official and they are now a couple.
It is a known fact that Carla has been waiting for Geoff to ask her formally before she could say yes. She wanted the relationship to start off right and that everything is clear so even if Geoff has been showing and making her feel his love, still she stood her ground and waited. Then finally that fateful day arrived and while they were just walking and talking, suddenly Geoff asked her “Will you be my girlfriend?|”. This is the moment that Carla has been waiting for and after uttering a short prayer, gave her new boyfriend her positive answer.
Even if Carla and Geoff are not together in the same project these days, the people who love them are hopeful that they will have a happy relationship together. Carla will be a part of the 2010 Metro Manila Film Festival entry of Regal Films – Shake Rattle and Roll XII ,while Geoff is now paired opposite Glaiza de Castor in GMA 7’s Grazilda.
