Charice Pempengco is back in the country to fulfill some of her showbiz commitments. The latest of which is her commitment with GMA7 to do a TV special that has been long overdue. She was supposed to do this Kapuso TV special during the Christmas season but because of health reasons, she wasn’t.
During her press conference, Charice never failed to thank her fans, the Chasters, who are ever loyal and true to her. She is grateful for her fans who have stood by her and defended her especially when she wasn’t here in the Philippines to defend herself.
The Chasters recently had a sort of Twitter war against entertainment columnist Ogie Diaz because of the latter’s negative write-ups and Tweets about Charice. Some of Ogie’s alleged comments were below the belt making the fans rise up and fight fire with fire.
Ogie has already issued a public apology and when asked about it, Charice has gamely said that she has already accepted the apology. She adds that she knows that she really can’t please everybody so the possibility of hearing negative comments is inevitable.
The press can’t help but ask about her love life as well especially as Valentine’s Day is fast approaching. Charice won’t name names but she says that there are some who are showing interest but she is not ready to get romantically involved just yet. According to the Glee star, her mom has already allowed her to go out on dates but she simply thinks that she is not ready yet. The girl surely knows her priorities in life.
