One of the Baretto sisters in the war path again but this time it is not Gretchen Baretto but the youngest of the sisters – Claudine. The wife of Raymart Santiago is thinking about suing Angelica Panganiban, one of the most bankable stars of Star Magic of Philippine showbiz today, because she allegedly spread nasty rumors linking Claudine to their common friend. Reports say that Angelica has been telling mutual friends about Claudine’s rumored affair.
According to camp of Claudine, Angelica has been spreading rumors that Claudine is allegedly involved in an extra marital affair with their common friend, Martin Castro who happens to be the best friend of Derek Ramsey – Angelica’s boyfriend. Claudine has reportedly said that Angelica wants to ruin the friendships that her boyfriend Derek has and is now allegedly spreading lies about Claudine and Martin.
The rumors that has been spreading say that Claudine allegedly began her supposed extra marital relationship with Martin, who is also married, about a year or so ago. This angered Claudine especially because Martin is also a married man and is also a friend of Raymart. It can be recalled that Claudine’s older sister Gretchen had a rift with Angelica a few weeks back but they have long patched things up and now consider each other as friends.
Claudine has reportedly been so offended because she considered Angelica as a younger sister. They have known each other since Angel was 9 and she has been invited in the intimate family gatherings of the Santiagos including their wedding and the christening of their child. As of today Angel has kept her silence and have not issued a statement at all. Will Claudine really sue Angel in court? As what the top honcho of Star Magic, Mr. Manalang says “Para Bellum” or prepare for war.
