Maria Venus Raj is really working the runway in the Miss Universe 2010 beauty pageant. Hot off the the philippine news is her fight for the crown with other equally beautiful beauty titlists from all over the world.
In the pre-pageant photo shoots and other Ms. Universe activities, the beautiful Filipina can obviously hold her ground when compared to the other beauties that are in the Ms. Universe pageant. Venus Raj is one of the pageant favorites along with the other beauties especially from South America like Bolivia, Venezuela, Peru, Jamaica, and of course Brazil. This Ms. Universe beauty pageant will be an interesting group as there are at least two Asians who are in the top favorites – Ms. Philippines Venus Raj and Ms. Thailand Fonthip Watcharatrakul.
For sure most people in the Philippines will be glued to the Philippine news channels for the live telecast of the Ms. Universe pageant. Other who will be at work will be looking at the internet for current news as to how Venus Raj will fare in her quest for the Ms. Universe crown. The country is hungry for another crown as it has been years since we had a Ms. Universe queen in our archipelago. Who knows, this year might be the Philippines’ time to shine in the person of Venus Raj.
Will she make it? We all certainly hope so. The burden that Venus Raj is carrying is not a light one. Being in competition with equally beautiful women from all over the world is something that will give her butterflies in her stomach but as long as she gives her best, then she is already a winner. Walking down the ramp of the Ms. Universe is a dream come true for her and if she wins, then the whole Philippines will have won as well.
